Omens by Blue Light Studios is an Indie video game studio dedicated to helping juniors in the video games industry gain experience and roles within the industry. With foundations in narrative design and interactive tabletop role-playing games, our goal is to craft deep and compelling narratives within our games that will bring people back for more! We are based in the United States’ Eastern time zone, spanning three different states within it.
Our Owners
Timothy Boseman is the president and CEO of Omens by Blue Light Studios. He grew up on classic games like Final Fantasy 7-9, Toontown, Spore, Bravely Default, and Wizard 101. Having earned his masters degree in game design, his specialty is Narrative Design, but he does have experience in production, UI design, and Systems Design. He has been running games of Dungeons and Dragon 5th edition for 9 years, and recently, he has moved on from that to design and run games of OBL Studio’s own TTRPG: Monsters in Darkness. With OBL Studios, he seeks to bring new great games filled with rich worlds and both fun and compelling stories and characters.
Angela Pepe is the Chief Administrative Officer of Omens by Blue Light Studios. She grew up with a wide variety of games from Mario Kart to Evony to Modern Warfare II to Nintendogs. Time has allowed her to increase her range in knowledge of games as well as discover a knack for worldbuilding. Much of her work experience lies in sales, customer service, and leadership. With OBL Studios, she seeks to create cohesive and immersive worlds and assist in creating enjoyable stories and gameplay.
Rodgers Miller is the Vice President of Omens by Blue Light Studios. He grew up playing games such as Castle Crashers, Starbound, Terraria, and Minecraft. In recent years he has expanded his horizons into many genres, and he is passionate about bringing his own flair to his design. While he has taken up game design, his main career field lies in psychology. With OBL Studios, he seeks to make a gaming experience that players will remember for years to come.
